In line with the renewed commitment to reposition Abuja as Africa’s emerging most influential capital, the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, was on official duty this week, leading high-level engagements aimed at accelerating key components of the Emerging Abuja Project.

The Minister visited ongoing infrastructure sites, including the future location of the 50,000-capacity International Event Dome and the proposed Smart Housing Zone in Karmo. During his tour, he emphasized the importance of timely delivery, community impact, and sustainability. “We are not just building structures,” he stated, “we are building a legacy that will serve generations and reflect the pride of our nation.”

In addition to project site visits, the Minister hosted a closed-door session with private sector partners and international investors to discuss green energy integration, smart mobility, and digital infrastructure. He reiterated that the success of Emerging Abuja lies in collaboration, transparency, and a shared sense of purpose.
